We were made aware of a couple seeking to move as quickly as possible, who wished to achieve added value from their side garden which, along with their neighbours’ equivalent garden, could form the plot for a detached house.

Having enabled their 'dream' move and entered into an agreement with the neighbour, we sold the existing house to a local lady seeking a better position in relation to her children's school.

We believe in respecting others' views and will always respond to constructive comments regarding urban design.

Consequently the new house was granted consent at the second attempt, having withdrawn our first application to accommodate amendments suggested by the planning officer. The property is set in an Edwardian street scene and has been constructed to reflect the character of the area as far as modern standards will allow.

The house was sold to a local couple seeking a move up-market. Despite the challenging market conditions the project was still successful, not least for the three local households who moved into new homes as a result of our involvement.
